Brendan Tang

Picture_2_2

Brendan Tang's work is fantastically humorous, engaging popular/contemporary culture and post-modern philosophy. The ceramic piece above is part of his latest series entitled Manga Ormolu. Below are other examples of his genius.

Uncommon chocolate

Picture_2a_2

21_21 Design Sight gallery in Tokyo is showing their first exhibition directed by Naoto Fukasawa. Subject matter: Chocolate (my favorite edible). The show features amazing creations by various artists who have interpreted the dark stuff in various ways.

By far my favorite is the image above of a miniature 3D cityscape of chocolate by Naoko Tone and Atsuyoshi Iijima.

Time lapse brilliance!

Unknown Russian Artist

Great artist's work featured below. The only problem is I know not his name. The only thing I can say for sure is he/she is Russian, judging from the Russian letters in the last picture. (Any tips on whom this artist is would be greatly appreciated.)

USB Air Conditioned Shirt

Even with air conditioning in the office, at home and in the car, there are still gaps in the air-conditioned experience where blistering heat takes over (like waiting for the air conditioning in the car to kick in, for example.)

That's where the Air Conditioned Shirt comes in. A shirt with a built in fan.
