Coffee for One

I've discovered a neat little coffee maker called the WMF 1 from German appliance company, WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG). The styling alone is worth noting, but the way it works is so simple it's worth mentioning, too. You use little coffee pods with enough coffee for one serving, while the reservoir holds enough water for one cup. The appliance comes in other accent colors, like green, yellow and gray. I really like the design and hope the user experience is at least as good as the styling. If anyone has ever used this, let me know what your experience with the product was like.

I really like this one, but do they sell extra coffee mugs with it?
I don't think that my Fire King Kimberly mugs would fit in this thing if the originally supplied mug were to.... break.

They sure do. Check out their website. Never mind mugs breaking - how about just being too lazy to wash that one mug and having some spares to back you up?

That looks adorable. The accent outline gives it a cute, cartoon-ish look like a coffee cup from the Powerpuff Girls (or some similar vector universe).

wmf1 was done by Munich-based design company called designafairs - guess there is a whole range to come!
