"Hannes Coetzee is a guitarist from the Karoo region in South Africa. Born in 1944, he is mainly known for his unique playing technique using a spoon in his mouth to play slide guitar. This playing technique is called optel and knyp. Coetzee reached a broader audience when David Kramer's documentary Karoo Kitaar Blues was released in 2003." Read more here and here
Here's an interesting way to reuse (illegal or not?) milk crates - turn them into a milk crate chandelier. The light patterns on the walls and ceiling can be pretty interesting...

Another gem of a website dedicated to a singular, obscure realm of curiosity - passive-aggressive notes. The image above is a real gem. I've also posted a few of my favorites. They are really very entertaining, and judging from the number of comments on many posts, lots of other people obviously think so too. Plenty of the submissions to the site have some back story, too - which only adds to the melodrama.
