2upintro1800tequilla
Earlier this year 1800® Tequila launched a campaign featuring nine cutting-edge artists. Each piece of artwork is featured on 1800® limited edition tequila bottles, all of which can be purchased.

Each artists' style is unique, representing various designs, mediums and perspectives. The nine artists featured in this limited edition production are: Dosa Kim (Atlanta, GA), Glenn Barr (Detroit, MI), Artillery (Chicago, IL), Chris Dean (Detroit, MI), Jorge Alderete (Mexico City, ME), Josh Ellingson (San Francisco, CA), Hannah Stouffer (San Francisco, CA), Jeremy Bacharach (Chicago, IL).

The bottles are great collectibles - whether you decide to drink the contents or not.

Continue reading to see more photos and learn about how you can apply your own artwork to a bottle (and even buy it), and how to enter your art into a cool competition.

Jason Iftakhar Raw Bench

Picture_6

London-based designer Jason Iftakhar created the Raw Bench from cardboard and strapping material commonly used in shipping. This surprisingly sturdy bench has an interesting profile, which gives it some extra aesthetic appeal. I wonder if the asymmetrical angles are also functional and help make it strong.

Moovboot

If you've ever worn warm Uggs in the soggy northeastern snows of the US, you'd know they get soaked through - which sort of defeats the purpose. Galoshes are not much better, either. And, rarely do they look cute. Moovboot of Australia combines the best of water-tight galoshes and warm fleece-lined Uggs - with great style. These are the ultimate winter boot. They come in several colors in a tall and short style.

I hope to nab a pair myself (let's see if I can get Reuben to treat me to a pair!)

Continue for more styles and photos.

We're really excited to share with you the work of Ana Serrano.

Ana's startlingly intricate and vibrant sculptures are nothing short of amazing. The detail and energy, plus the large scale make these piles-of-buildings cardboard sculptures endlessly fascinating. Plus, Ana is relatively young, which makes these works of art all the more impressive.

Read the interview after the jump.
