Umbrella Transformer
I just spotted this really innovative idea over at dornob. It's an umbrella that transforms into a stylish handbag. Cool! Designed by Seung Hee Son

I'm sure you've noticed by now that we've got a fresh new look for the blog. After a lot of coding, tweaking and generally making a mess of CSS, I've managed to get it to look half-decent (let me know what you think of it!) It still remains a work-in-progress. The goal of this redesign was to make it easier to get around and add some more color. After all, you know we're suckers for color!
Last but not least, our large header incorporates the work of a featured artist. We'll be featuring different artists in that space and rotating them over time to keep things interesting. This isn't a sponsored spot, but rather a testament to our support of great artists. Our first feature is of the brilliant and witty Simon Oxley, one of our all-time favorites.
Enjoy!
Want to know the top design blogs according to Alexa? Well, we've compiled all 90 of them. I have no clue how they come up with these rankings, but hey, these are great sites to check out and bookmark! (ReubenMiller ranks 24 - not bad.)

If you wear these sneakers, are you dressed up or dressed down? Hmmm.
If you've ever worn warm Uggs in the soggy northeastern snows of the US, you'd know they get soaked through - which sort of defeats the purpose. Galoshes are not much better, either. And, rarely do they look cute. Moovboot of Australia combines the best of water-tight galoshes and warm fleece-lined Uggs - with great style. These are the ultimate winter boot. They come in several colors in a tall and short style.
I hope to nab a pair myself (let's see if I can get Reuben to treat me to a pair!)

Have your cake - but don't eat it! Tiny and delightful amigurumi cakes adorn these rings. Life should be this sweet. These rings are designed by Emi, originally from Tokyo and is now living in Los Angeles. Her other amigurumi minis are also worth checking out.
You know those little bread tags that cinch the end of a bagged loaf of bread? Have you even noticed them at all? Well, Melanie Favreau has taken notice of these ubiquitous, nondescript little plastic tags and turned them into delicate sterling silver pendants. I wonder if the stamped date is random, or you can pick one yourself.
